Postdoctoral Fellow of Organic Electronics Research Center
Dr. Kasimayan Uma is currently a post-doctoral researcher in the Organic Electronics Research Center. She obtained her Ph.D. from Nagoya Institute of Technology in Nagoya, Japan, where she was honored with the Monbukagakusho fellowship from the Ministry of Education, Japan, during her doctoral studies. Dr. K. Uma possesses extensive research expertise in the fabrication of dye-sensitized solar cells and the advancement of high-performance AlGaN-GaN high electron mobility transistors grown on sapphire substrates through the utilization of metal-organic chemical vapor deposition (MOCVD). Her research primarily revolves around the exploration of semiconductor and nanocomposite materials for diverse applications, including dye-sensitized and polymer solar cells, organic dye degradation, CO2 reduction, and supercapacitor performance. She has made significant contributions to the field, with over 40 technical papers published. Furthermore, she actively engages with the scientific community by participating in national and international conferences, where she presents her research findings and shares her expertise.
