查厚錦博士目前在明志科技大學有機電子研究中心擔任助理研究員,其主要研究為有機太陽能電池的技術開發,並在以下領域展現專業能力:(1)開發新型大面積塗佈技術,可適用於柔性基板,並成功整合至卷對卷生產製程中。(2)創新透明模組化技術,藉以提升模組應用的靈活性與效能。(3)研發高成本效益的柔性模組封裝技術,有效降低生產成本並提升模組耐久性。(4)進行大面積模組的壽命加速測試,結合戶外實地驗證,確保模組適用於各種環境下。此外,他的研究還涵蓋鈣鈦礦太陽能電池與有機光電檢測器的製程開發,持續於光電領域進行研究。
