Professor Shun-Wei Liu, Chair Professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering and Director of the Organic Electronics Research Center (OERC) at Ming Chi University of Technology, has recently been recognized by Research.com as one of the Best Scientists in the field of Electronics and Electrical Engineering in the 2026 edition, ranking 92 in Taiwan and 4,788 in worldwide. The ranking is primarily based on the researcher’s D-index (Discipline H-index), publication record, and citation performance within the specific discipline, reflecting international research visibility and academic impact in the field. Professor Liu expressed that he was also somewhat surprised when seeing the result, and sincerely appreciated the long-term support from Ming Chi University of Technology, his research team, and international collaborators. In the future, the research team will continue advancing frontier research in organic and perovskite optoelectronics, sensing, imaging, and energy harvesting technologies, with the goal of further enhancing Taiwan’s international research visibility in photonics, electronics, and advanced materials.
