To broaden students' international perspectives and promote cross-border academic exchange, the Department of Electronic Engineering and the Organic Electronics Research Center (OERC) of the College of Engineering at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT) organized an overseas study program from June 6 to June 12, 2026. A delegation consisting of 22 faculty members and students traveled to South Korea to participate in a series of academic visits and exchange activities. The delegation is jointly led by Professor Dian Luo of the Department of Electronic Engineering, along with Researcher Chun-Jen Shih and Researcher Yi-Sheng Chen from the College of Engineering. Through overseas academic visits and international engagement, the program aims to provide students with valuable opportunities to expand their global outlook, strengthen professional knowledge, and gain insights into the latest developments and research trends in electronic engineering and emerging technologies. During the visit, the delegation will tour Pusan National University (PNU), one of South Korea's leading research universities. Faculty members and students will engage in academic discussions, laboratory visits, and research exchanges with local scholars and students. These activities are expected to foster future collaboration opportunities and strengthen international academic partnerships between the two institutions. In addition, the delegation will participate in the HIRC 2026 International Conference, where students will have the opportunity to attend technical sessions, learn from internationally recognized experts, and interact with researchers from around the world. Through exposure to cutting-edge research and global academic networks, students can further enhance their research capabilities, academic vision, and international competitiveness. Ming Chi University of Technology has long emphasized international mobility, experiential learning, and global engagement. Through overseas study programs and international academic collaborations, the university strives to bridge classroom learning with the latest technological advancements, cultivate global competence and cross-cultural communication skills, and prepare students for future academic and professional success in an increasingly interconnected world.
