由低暗電流密度、轉移電流、寬帶截止頻率與快速瞬態光響應是評估有機光耦合器之重要表徵。也因此,在這本次研究中將進行完整的光電特性分析法,如熱電子場發射、陷阱密度和非輻射激子猝滅等現象,深入理解元件操作機制。最終,藉由上述之分析結果,證明出我們所研製之有機光耦合器具有絕佳優越光電特性。

The low level of dark current density, transfer characteristics with high-order magnitude, broadband cut-off frequency, and rapid transient photo-response are significant features in assessing the high-performance of a photocouplers. In this study, thorough electrical and optical characterizations were carried out to investigate the phenomena of thermionic field emission, trap density, and non-radiative exciton quenching. These investigations justify the superior performance of the proposed organic photocouplers.
