On June 9, 2026, Professor Shun-Wei Liu, Chair Professor of the Department of Electronic Engineering and Director of the Organic Electronics Research Center (OERC) at Ming Chi University of Technology (MCUT), together with Professor Yu-Ching Huang, Technical Development Division Leader of OERC, visited Konkuk University, Korea, for an academic exchange. The visit began with a meeting hosted by the Office of International Affairs (OIA), where both institutions exchanged views on international collaboration, student exchange programs, and future academic partnerships. Professor Liu was also invited to deliver a featured lecture entitled: “Next-Generation Organic and Perovskite Electronics for Imaging, Weak-Light Detection, and Energy Harvesting.” The presentation introduced recent research achievements from OERC in the areas of organic and perovskite optoelectronics, weak-light sensing, imaging technologies, and indoor energy harvesting. The lecture was attended by faculty members and graduate students, particularly from the Department of Materials Science and Engineering, followed by active discussions and exchanges of ideas. Professor Liu expressed his appreciation for the opportunity to engage in meaningful discussions at Konkuk University. He particularly thanked the Office of International Affairs for their warm hospitality and the faculty members of the Department of Materials Science and Engineering for their participation and valuable feedback during the lecture. Both institutions look forward to strengthening future collaboration and welcoming colleagues from Konkuk University to Ming Chi University of Technology in late July for further academic exchange and discussions on potential cooperative activities.
