SERVICE FUNCTIONS

The Organic Electronics Research Center is currently dedicated to research and development in cutting-edge areas such as near-infrared sensors, transparent conductive electrodes, organic light-emitting diodes, and semiconductor processes. The center has established comprehensive research facilities, including exposure machines, laser engraving machines, nitrogen glove boxes, sputtering machines, vacuum sublimation furnaces, luminance meters, solar simulators, monochromators, photoluminescence transient analysis systems, photoluminescence analysis systems, needle holders, time-of-flight carrier mobility measurement systems, atomic force microscopes, film thickness gauges, optical property measurement instruments, electron microscopy/compositional analyzers, 3D micro-Raman spectrometers, low-light source measurement systems, integrating spheres, microbalances, and bending test machines.

The center offers over twenty service projects open to students from other universities to promote academic exchange. Additionally, the center welcomes collaborations with businesses to explore industry-academia cooperative projects. Currently, the center has partnered with Formosa Plastics Biomedical Corporation to successfully develop and launch its first product. The product was officially launched on the Formosa Plastics website in February 2024, marking the center's first successful transition of research outcomes into a marketable product. Looking forward, the center aims to engage in more collaborations with industries to further promote technology transfer and the development of industry-academia cooperation projects.
